Autumn, November, a cold morning.
I was on the train on my way to work. I expected nothing good from a day at the office as all sorts of tasks and problems were waiting for me, and the only thing I wanted to do was to run away – as far away as possible. I stood there leaning against the train door – sleepy and tired already. Suddenly, I had a vision of a dragon landing in a rice field. I blinked, but it was too late – in a second the field was behind me.
Autumn, November, another cold morning.
I'm on the train on my way to work. I still expect nothing good from a day at the office, and I still want to run away – I don’t care where to, but preferably to Italy. Just like yesterday, I am leaning against the train door, but today I am alert and awake. As the train approaches Nakayama station, my mind asks in a bit of confusion – did I really see a dragon yesterday? But as it turns out, I am not crazy, at least not yet – the dragon was sitting at the edge of the harvested field and was looking thoughtfully at something in front of him.
Sadly, the dragon was gone the next day. Still, I had two days of autumn happiness.
